Church Information

Lifestyle Questionnaire

You are being considered for the role of either Intern or Resident. This ministry carries a high level of responsibility in the church and should be held only by those whose lives demonstrate the internal and external qualities outlined in Romans 14:7, 13; 1 Thes. 5:22; and 1 John 2:15. We request that you read these passages of Scripture and prayerfully and thoughtfully answer the following questions:

Doctrinal Statement

Please read our doctrinal positions and indicate whether you are in agreement with our church.

1. We believe in the verbal inspiration of the entire Bible, in the original manuscripts, which is inerrant, supreme and final in all matters of belief and practice.

2. We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in Jesus Christ as fully God and fully man, His conception by the Holy Spirit, His virgin birth, His bodily resurrection, and His personal, visible return with power and great glory.

4. We believe that man, being created by a direct act of God, was an innocent, free, moral being; that he sinned and thereby incurred the penalty of physical and spiritual death, not only for himself but also for the entire human race, with the result that we are all sinful by nature.

5. We believe that Jesus Christ, by His substitutionary death on the cross, secured salvation for all those who will receive Him as their only Savior; that these, who are regenerated by the Holy Spirit, will never perish; and that it is impossible for anyone to be saved except by Jesus Christ.

6. We believe that the universal, invisible church is composed of all believers; that the local, visible church is a congregation of baptized believers in a particular locality, associated for worship, fellowship, service and observance of the ordinances; and that this local church is independent in that the only authority over it is that of Christ and the Word of God.

7. We believe that every Christian should be baptized (immersed) in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; that baptism is an outward act of obedience, symbolic of God’s inner work of regeneration; and that it represents the believer’s identification with Christ, his baptism by the Holy Spirit and his good conscience before God.

8. We believe in the observance of the Lord’s Supper as the symbol of continual, spiritual fellowship with our Savior; that it is for believers only; and that by doing this we remember His death until He comes.

9. We believe in the ultimate triumph of Jesus Christ, His church and righteousness at His glorious appearing, in the resurrection of the dead, in the eternal blessedness of the saved and in the eternal, conscious suffering of the unsaved.
